» Welcome
My practice provides excellence in psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and psychiatry. I evaluate and treat children, adolescents, and adults with emotional difficulties. My approach recognizes the interplay of biology, psychology and sociology in shaping individuals and their relationships.

Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy are techniques that facilitate understanding our thoughts and feelings. They are forms of treatment to help us better understand the uniqueness of our minds.

The mind is the seed of our thoughts and feelings, and is responsible for how we perceive and experience life within and around us. These thoughts and feelings may create or contribute to emotional discomfort, physical illness, and pain. Although we may be familiar with many of our thoughts and feelings, some are more mysterious or neatly packed away from our awareness. In these situations sometimes emotional or physical pain is the only clue to their existence. When this occurs medical or holistic intervention can not fully rid the pain until the underlying thoughts and feelings are revealed and gradually understood.

Medication, meditation, massage, exercise, hobbies, acupuncture, hypnosis, friends, and loved ones can all help ease tension and make life’s struggles easier to bear. However, only through understanding the way our minds think and feel, and how these thoughts developed can we hope to resolve these emotional struggles, and any physical problems resulting from them.
